Since maraming gustong makaalam ng alternative and cheap na colored filters, let's discuss it in one thread.
Una, ano nga ba ang kaibahan ng colored filter for lens at flash? Kapag ginamit mo ang filter sa lens ang buong picture eh makukulayan ng color ng filter mo. Kapar nilagay mo naman ang filter sa flash eh kung ano ang tamaan ng flash mo eh yun ang magkakakulay, yung ibang parts na di tinamaan ng flash will retain yung natural color nila. tama ba mga lomo experts?
so ano nga bang mga nagamit nyo ng alternative filters? sabi ni annegelly you colored velcro from japan home para sa flash. si kitongzki naman nagtatanong about colored acetates.
di pa ako nakakakita ng colored acetates eh. try mo sa ibang bookstores. or sa main branch ng national bookstore in cubao. else, use cellophane. cheap din yun at maraming colors. hehe. ma-try nga minsan. pag nagka flash nako. :mrgreen:

hihihi… magtatanong tanong ako… hassle kasi kung cellophane eh. anlaki masyado. Yung gel filters na ginagamit din sa mga stage lights (PAR) pwede din yun eh. medyo mahal lang nga. hehehe…
wahaha…
habang naka peteks mode ako dito sa office, naalala ko yung nabasa ko about colorsplashing and yung sa color filter para sa lens.
kapag colorsplashing, mostly yung pinakamalapit lang na bagay yung nalalagyan ng kulay. which you should be able to notice sa mga photos na kinuhaan gamit ng holga 120CFN, Colorsplash Camera, etc.
Kapag yung color filter sa lens, buong picture malalagyan ng kulay kasi nga nasa lens yung filter.
hehehe.. yun yung naalala ko…

uy uy uy may naisip ako… kaso for green acetate replacements lang eh… alam nyo yung bote ng sprite na 2.5 litre diba??? you can cut it out to fit your lens/flash…hehehehe…

actually pwede rin yan eh. nakakita ako dati sa net, plastic bottles ang ginagamit, pag clear, nagtutunnel effect din.

hmmm… we can try that… kaso di ako sprite drinker… have to look for empty bottle of sprite somewhere… scavenger mode?! hehehe…
makapag hanap ng mga colored plastic stuff to try and see if it will work good as a color filter for flash and lens… try ko sa digicam para hindi sayang sa film….

Oh btw, I have already tried the sprite as a filter… well, para sa flash… ayus din…
Dami pwede, gamitin asa an alternative filter or splash. hihi…
wala kasing colored acetate dito eh… di ako makakita… pero sabi nila effective yung velcro straps… try nyo din!
